Will it end

Well it has been about a year since I picked up the keyboard. Lots has gone on. Where do I begin? Well Hi yalll will do it I guess.
Stephen will go back to the ortho hopefully in the morning. Yep he has done it again. Hope it is just going to be put back into place but won't know till doc reads the xrays we had taken this morning. He came home Sunday from church and his left arm was hurting so major bad he was crying. Well think he dislocated it. Will know more when I hear back from Dr. Hendrix.
Eddie was home from church because he is next to strep throat. I was just plain exhausted. I am ready for vaction. It isn't coming soon enough for me.
My sister has moved to Toledo and that is another 5 hours north from where she was living. I really miss her. I wish she could come down for a week or so. Well getting hungry so better close and figure out how to fix that problem. Hope next update won' t be over a year from now.

It has been a while.

Lots has been goin on this past month. First was Speedy well he is somewhat better but as he continues to age, well we will just go on. Stephen has had a time with his racing. He blew up his motorcycle and we just got the new motor Friday. He was able to take a few laps this morning. Tonight was the last night for car racing. THANK-YOU God. Didn't end so well he broke a Right side axle flange. Which caused the tire to come off brake drum attached. Well that just simply ended a rough season at Abilene Speedway. We are scheduled to race motocross every weekend in September either at Mesquite Hills or an arena cross in Stephenville. Then a motocross school here at the end of the month. Do you ever feel like putting your foot on the ground and hoping the touching of the ground will slow life down? Just long enough to smell the flowers. I am feeling like it has been a really long time since those flowers have had a smell. I am so looking forward to that up coming cruise. As busy as we are we still need to stop and say those prayers for each other and then let the people know that they have been prayed for. Yep consider your self now prayed for.

Speedy Ate Kibble Today

Speedy (my basset dog) ate some of his kibble today. The vet said 2 to 3 days and it has been 2. I was getting pretty worried. He didn't have a feast but he at least had a few kibbles. I hope his back is getting better.
I made cupcakes this morning. They are so good even without frosting. Maybe I will leave them unfrosted then I can have them all. No! Just kidding. But they are light and fluffy. MMMmmmm.

Well it has been Monday

I washed clothes. Much needed chore. Took the dog to the vet. Purse is now $75 dollars lighter and the dog is on some good pain meds. This keeps up I will need the meds. LOL My basset is 11 years old and while doing God only knows what he has hurt his back. I am going to hurt his butt if he does that again. Kids and dogs. Hmm. I just can't explain. Finished a book today called Fugitive Mom. It was really good. I am averaging about a book every week. And keeping up. I am ready to have a down day and read a book cover to cover. I love to do that. Any way world hope you have had a fairly good day and I am off to the motocross practice. Stephen is trying out some all new set ups. That sometimes is not all its cracked up to be.

Gettin Started Early Today

Lots to do not many hours in the day, it seems. We all know how that will work. Return Copy Machine to Office Depot. This place really chaps me. This is the 2nd time around with them. Buy a brand new copy machine name brand Cannon and you get the heavy thing home hauled all the way to the back of the house into the bedroom where it lives open the box and your brand new copier that weighs 100 lbs is already assembled and the in cartridge is installed upon turning it on it has in fact been used. Again I stress here you bought brand new and it has been used. Am I happy? No! Did I call them? Yes! Do they know I am not pleased? Yes! Do I know the salesperson? Yes! He happens to be a rider at the Mx track. Does he feel like crap for selling me a used machine for a new price? He does now.
Then there is the A/C on my van. Did I mention it DOES NOT WORK! Eddie has been very busy. So I took it to a friend we have known for a very long time. He is still a friend but, this van is a 1997 I don't think it warrants $800 worth of anything. So I paid $25 for an estimate to not get that fixed.
Went shopping and out to lunch with Bobbie yesterday. I really enjoyed our time together. She has changed on the outside so much but, on the inside she is still Bobbie. I pray for her. I don't think she is totally comfortable with her situation. I don't think she will ever admit it. In fact I know she won't. She isn't like me, she would never say she isn't happy. Just pray for that situation.
Was so excited this week. I helped a friend with her myspace she is so pleased with herself. She has friends and pictures. Makes ya feel good all over when you can do something like that.
Well that is all for today folks stay tuned for the next chapter.

Worried

Stephen layed his bike down Monday night at practice. At first I thought it was pretty minor but his left knee has been swollen. Today the bruise is coming up. It is deep red in the middle and the surrounding area is turning green. I am concerned. But he won't let me take him and have it xrayed. He doesn't want to hear the result. But he is willing to take it easy on it and give it time. He is far enough ahead in points to take off 1 night in mx so this will probably be the race he sits out. At least I hope he does. I will tell you something disturbing the GMA show is reporting on teenage kids putting flammable liquids in water squirt guns then shooting with a flame. These are teenagers. white, 13 to 17 years old, that has been getting good grades. What the heck, where are the parents? They have way to much time on their hands to think this crap up!!!!!!! Obviously no supervision.
